Skaters are free to skate how they want and do the tricks they want. There are no other players to influence what you do. This independent, no rules, free thinking mentality attracts creative people to skateboarding. The kind of people who like to do their own thing. The attitude of the skater often reflects the era when they started skateboarding. The most famous cities in the world for skateboarding are Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Vancouver, NYC and Barcelona. They all have some claim to their reputation.
Ollies Magazine is a skate culture magazine that showcases different teams and pro skaters to the up and coming alike. This magazine team goes world round skating to see what trends and grounds are being broken along the lines of coast reps to gender neutral pros or from who's pushing mongo and who's riding vert. The games changing and we love it. It all depends if you're posing or here to see little Kader do a hardflip off a twenty stair.
